DOUBLE DOSE OF ENTERTAINMENT AND IRRESISTIBLE CUTENESS AWAITS YOU WITH THESE BONDED KITTEN BROTHERS
Hello friends! I'm Nimbus, a little kitten boy born in the Spring of 2016. I'm here with my bonded brother and best friend Stratus. We are ready to bring a double dose of irresistible entertainment and cuteness to our forever home. Are you ready to start smiling a whole lot more? We hope so!
We're both teeny tiny guys at the moment - we'll turn six months old in September 2016. You are in for cuteness overload with us! I'm a brown tabby, but not just any brown tabby. I've got short, silky fur in a brown tabby pattern with very striking and exotic-looking dark stripes. I'm also wearinga snowy white bow tie, tuxedo, two white socks and two matching mittens. Guess what color my warm soft tummy is? You guessed it, snowy white! I have gorgeous green-grey eyes that you don't see very often. I have a snowy white blaze on my nose just to top off the stylish accents.
My brother Stratus will melt your heart with his baby blue eyes. He's dressed like I am, but almost in reverse. He's mostly snowy white, but he's got brown/charcoal tabby patches (including an adorable cap on his head) all over. Those eyes of his... woo woo!
I used to be very skittish, but with the help of my foster mom and the excellent example set by my brother Stratus I am becoming more open and trusting all the time. I love Stratus - he is my playmate and wrestling partner. I also love to play independently - I love to play hockey with milk caps. I chase stuffed mice. I can catch any kind of ribbon or string. I've hardly ever met a toy that I didn't like. I also happen to like bark, but my foster mom insists that this is not a toy. Darn!
In the morning I get my purr motor up and running! The tiny human who lives in my foster home told me that I sound like an airplane. I think that's a compliment about my purr-ability. My purr motor also turns on automatically anytime I eat. I love to eat! Other than that, I am a quiet little boy. Sometimes I will make tiny crying sounds if I can't find my brother - it's stressful for me to be apart from my best friend and mentor! I also like to be in the same room as my human. I like to keep an eye on her.
Sometimes our foster mom forgets that we are two little boys and buys us lavender-scented kitty litter or fancy food by Rachel Ray. We let her know that we don't appreciate that stuff! I still love her - she says I have the softest fur she's ever petted.
Let me tell you about my brother and best friend, Stratus. Our foster mom calls him “Slider” because of the way he runs and slides to catch a toy ribbon, as if he was playing outfield for the Washington Nationals. He's nimble enough to be a professional cat-hlete. When we first arrived at our foster home home Stratus would run like lightening and squeeze into the tiniest spots where it was safe. Once he figured things out, he stopped being scared. He says it helps a lot to have me with him with me; I am his best friend. We wrestle and play and help each other stay clean—we’re curious about bubble baths but not curious enough to use them ourselves.
Morning is one of his favorite times of the day. When our human is finally finished sleeping, she pets us and hangs out and we rub against her legs. Then there’s breakfast, which is great and makes Stratus purr just like I do. After breakfast sometimes we get to watch cat-tv. Stratus likes watching the birds and squirrels the most; the fish are pretty fun too but they don’t make any noise. Then our human goes to work and we go to our full-time jobs: playing, napping, and being adorable.
If you would like to smile a whole lot more, fill your home and heart with a double dose of kitten love and build two long-lasting loyal bonds, please come to meet us! It's easy to get started: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for us, Nimbus and Status. Be prepared to overdose on cute!
Playfully yours,
Nimbus (with Stratus)
