SWEET LAP CAT WANTS TO CUDDLE FOREVER

Hello friends! My name’s Juan and I would love to be your forever cat. My siblings Maria, Pedro, Rosa, and I were rescued as tiny babies from the great big outdoors. We’ve been spending our time in a wonderful foster home, but it’s time we went to a home of our own! We’re all really sweet cats who’d make an awesome addition to your home.

I’m the biggest kitty in my litter-- already 5 pounds! I’m a very sleek, short-haired black cat like Maria and Pedro (not Rosa-- she’s a fluffball) with a face that my foster parents tell me is totally adorable. Just wait until you see my big round bright blue eyes!

My foster parents say that I am an awesome lap cat. I agree! While my siblings like to weave around you and get petted, I simply walk over and plop down on top of you so I can enjoy constant attention. I will knead your lap with my paws to show you how happy I am - I’m the only one in my family that does this! I love to hang out on the upstairs couch and watch TV with my foster family.

I’m very friendly and easygoing-- I get along well with adults, kids, and dogs. I love to be held and petted (and licked by my foster parents’ friendly pooch) and really enjoy spending time around people and cats.

You may be wondering how to tell me apart from my two shorthaired siblings. Well... I’m bigger than either of them. Other than that... We all have beautiful eyes that are green or gold --it depends on the light-- on the outside with a dark blue-green spot around our pupil. We also all have a tiny white spot under our chins. Does this mean we’re technically tuxedo cats? Because we look so much alike, you will want to put collars on us if you adopt me with Pedro or Maria. That’s totally fine, because I think that black cats look great in brightly colored collars; I’ve worn one before and I didn’t mind it at all!

Like all kittens, I need to have company!  There are many benefits for both humans and felines when adopting two compatible cats together - this especially true for young, active kittens like me. Same-species companionship greatly enhances our quality of life. We provide each other with stimulating play. We moderate each other's behavior. We burn off our energy together - this is very important for indoor housecats. We provide each other with grooming services free of charge. We sleep, cuddle and snuggle together. We comfort each other and keep each other engaged when you are off doing the things that keep you away from us.

In return, you get twice the love, affection and happiness. You have peace of mind knowing that when you have the leave us, we'll be fine together until you can be with us again.

Please come and meet me! I’d love to get to know you. To arrange a meeting, email  contact@kingstreetcts.org . Please take a look at my siblings’ webpages. They will impress you, I promise. See you soon!

Happily yours,
Juan
