Hello friends! My name is Gatsby. I am a classically handsome brown tabby boy ready to bring everything that's fabulous about felines to you so we can start the New Year full of love and togetherness.

I've been a member of the King Street Cats family since I was a baby – KSC happily welcomed me back recently when my family was unable to keep me. This is through no fault of my own – I will raise my right paw and swear to it! My volunteer friends are so happy to see me again and discover that my purrsonality is as affectionate and wonderful as when they last saw me. I've had practice being a family boy and I aced the test with flying colors. I'm three (3) years old now and this is an excellent age at which to adopt a new best friend – I am young, yet past the kitten chaos stage and my habits and traits are here to stay – you will love them all!

I am as gentle as can be. I will love you unconditionally and prove this to you by hopping into your lap for dreamy belly rubs on my warm, soft, silky tummy. I'll purrrr and purrrr for you to let you know that this is my idea of bliss. Speaking of warm, soft and silky – my fur is unusually soft. Everyone who pets me remarks on it! This is a wonderful thing because I love to soak up affection from my purrson and I'll be happy each time you pet me, rub me or give me little chin scratches.

My idea of purrfection is to be near you, yet I am not intrusive. I am a mellow, relaxed boy with a gentle curiosity about what you're doing and what new smells you might let me sniff. That's how I map out my world! I'll be there to greet you when you come home, I'll be ready to play when you want entertainment, and I'll be happy relaxing near (or on) you.

One of my KSC volunteer friends recently remarked that I was the sweetest cat she'd met in a long time and she could not believe that I would be waiting more than an instant for my forever purrson or family to take me home. Other volunteers have been overheard whispering about how much they would love to take me home if only they weren't at full capacity with their current kitty friends.

I get along fine with other cats, and I get along fine just being your one and only. Whatever works for you, works for me. I am well mannered, friendly to visitors and guests and grateful for the love that we'll share. Please come to meet me so that we can fall for one another and I can go home with you forever. You won't be sorry – you'll have a new best friend!
