Hello friends! My name is Jolene. I'm a pretty little girl of less than one year old (nine months) as of this New Year. I am so grateful to have been welcomed into the King Street Cats family! I was at a shelter with a broken pelvis and no idea how my life would unfold. Thanks to KSC it's turning out better than I could have imagined! I've healed very well and you may notice 

One of the sweetest surprises when I arrived at KSC was the feline friends waiting to play with me! I simply adore my four footed friends here and I spend hours playing with them. I can often be found snuggling with another kitty with my paws wrapped around him or her to offer warmth and comfort. It would make my heart sing if I could be adopted into a forever home with another deserving, compatible King Street Cat. Please, please ask my volunteer friends to introduce you to one of my special friends.

There are concrete benefits to both cats and humans when a highy social cat - especially a kitten like me who's still learning the ways of the world - is adopted together with a friend. Same-species companionship greatly enhances our quality of life. Having a feline best friend will allow me the opportunities I crave to play, exercise, explore, groom, snuggle, and comfort.

When you are away doing the things that humans do, you won't have to worry about a lonely cat with separation anxiety because my friend and I will have each other for support and entertainment. Two cats raised together also teach each other the bounds of acceptable feline behavior. 

I am a soft, warm and silky baby girl with glistening jet black short fur. I have bright almond-shaped eyes that change from green to gold depending on the light. I have one snowy white cheek, a snowy white little chin and a matching "tuxedo" to complete my fashion statement. I am a friendly, happy girl and my KSC friends are certain that I will make a wonderful addition to your household. 

Please come to meet me, and ask about a kitty friend (if you don't have a suitable and willing candidate at home) who would make my life more complete. Two cats are not "twice as much work." We are twice as much love.
