Hello friends! My name is Irma. I'm a young girl whose fortunes took a huge turn for the better when I joined the King Street Cats family in September 2017. I brought a family of my own to my new KSC family - turns out I was pregnant. I went to live with a wonderful KSC foster family.

I had three kittens named Daisy Duke, Bo and Luke. My foster mom says I am the best mommy cat!

I'm just a very girl myself - two (2) years old. I'm still unsure about people - they've been kind to me and I am surrounded by the best kind here. I just need a soft-spoken, understanding and patient purrson who will allow me to slowly shed the survival instincts that kept me alive while I was fending for myself.

I'm a beautiful cat, no doubt about it. My fur is a lovely mix of silver and pale peach - I'm a "dilute tortoiseshell" girl with lovely tabby swirls and stripes. I have luxurious long hair and a stunning little mane like a tiny lion. My eyes are a clear spring green. It's a lovely look.

I love to be petted. Belly rubs are glorious! Gentle scratches under my chin - oooooooh! Yet I need you to be patient: sudden movements and noises still scare me. I want to trust you and be loved on.

With your love, I know I will find my inner kitten and continue to blossom.

You'll see my inner kitten peeking out - I love to play... as long I think no one's watching me! I haven't had much time to practice my play with three little tykes depending on me but now it's my turn.

I would love a quiet home without kids or dogs, but other kitties would be very nice as long as they're not aggressive or unwilling to share their space with me. Please consider adopting me with one of my babies if possible! Two companionable cats benefit greatly from same-species contact: we teach each other feline skills and behavioral bounds, we exercise and play with each other, and we keep each other entertained and feeling secure when you can't be with us.

Please come to meet me. It's easy to get started: send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Irma. I can't wait to settle into my safe, quiet and loving new home.

Beautifully yours,
Irma
