CURRENTLY IN FOSTER

Hi my name is Blue. My litter mates and I were all alone outside when an animal tried to hurt us. I was the only one to survive thanks to a Good Samaritan who scooped me up and brought me to a city shelter. I weighed about 6 ounces and was almost 2 weeks old. My mom hadn’t had time to teach me how to eat on my own or use the litter box yet. Lucky for me King Street Cats was picking up two kittens who were a week older than me and also needed someone to bottle fed them. That’s when I met my new brother Mako and sister Angel. King Street Cats sent the three of us to a foster home where we were bottle fed for a while then taught how to eat on our own and how to use the litter box. Once we had mastered the basics we went to another fabulous King Street Cats foster home where we could just run and play and get lots of love until we were ready for adoption. So here we are!  My new big brother Mako has made me feel safe from the moment I met him and still does now when something scares me so I would love to be adopted with him.

My foster mom says: “Blue is cuddly, playful and adventurous. His favorite pastimes are: playing with his house mates, showing off his confidence/skills to the others (he is the smallest), sitting in pots/boxes, and trying to sleep under your neck to get his tummy rubbed. He is incredibly gentle and good-natured. He is very clean and quiet, his meow is very soft , the loudest it gets is at meal time.  Blue gets scared fairly easily, he is not a fan of thunder storms, and it takes him a little while to warm up to new people or visitors.  He finds comfort in his buddy Mako. Blue is a perfect kitty, we first fostered him at a mere 12 oz., he has come along way and will make a wonderful addition to any home.”
