Ma-Ti was adopted!

We are Ma-Ti (black/white girl) and Jenka (grey tabby girl), sisters who were born to Gaia. We arrived here on 5-17-12 after coming from a shelter that could not keep us. We were born around late February 2012 and have grown up in foster care.

Ma-TI:  My favorite position is on your shoulder and I like it that way because it's easy for you to hear my purrs of happiness so maybe you'll let me stay there for a while. Although I may not ask you to pick me up and cuddle, if you put me on your lap and pet me, I will never leave and you’ll get to hear my really loud purr box.  If you are sitting or lying down, I love to crawl in your pants leg or in your shirt. My foster mom says it tickles as I wiggle around in there. I love playing with other kitties, except when they try to eat my food, I kinda growl like a lion.  

Jenka: I have a big personality! I am frisky and full of energy. I am the greeting committee - I’m very friendly and always want to meet new people.  Although I may not want you to hold and squeeze me, I do want to jump in your lap and dance all around you. However, I can be a lap cat when I’m tired. I think I was supposed to be a dog because I like licking faces. I can offer free facial exfoliations and have discovered that by hanging over your shoulder, it gives me the best angle and increases my efficiency. I'm also adept at yoga and like to stand on your lap.
