Hello friends! My name is Isaiah. Mine has been a long but worthwhile journey to meet you! I found myself in a high-kill shelter in southern Virginia, but staff members were immediately taken with my wonderful personality and excellent disposition, and went to a lot effort to find me a foster home so that I could have a chance at a loving life. All along the way, everyone who met me wanted to make sure I had the best chance at finding the human(s) who will love me forever, and that's how I wound up here at King Street Cats. I already know that humans can be wonderful because so many of them have helped me. 

I am a very handsome young boy (born in 2011) and an unusual silver tabby! I have big round eyes and a perfect face. I am a laid-back and funny guy, as you can see from my photos. I walked around the King Street Cats room and saw all these fellow felines sitting up in boxes. Sitting. Up. Why? Because that was the only way they could see what was going on around them since they didn't have x-ray vision to see through the boxes. I thought to myself, "Isaiah, there's got to be a way to see through the box and lay down while doing it..." And then I found it! I bet the other cats were jealous of my ingenious solution to this seeing-through-the-box dilemma. 

You will know how happy I am when you see me rolling over and twisting all around to give me my belly so you can rub it and hear me purrrr!
