CALICO DARLING GIRL WILL GREET YOU AT YOUR DOOR AND WARM YOUR LAP WITH HER LOVE

Hi there, friends! My name is Zosha.  I’m a 12 year old calico darling. I had lived almost my entire life with my beloved purrson but sadly, she passed on and I was left alone.  Thanks to the amazing efforts of several wonderful rescues and individuals, I made it all the way from the Mid West to King Street Cats.  I've been enjoying the attention of my wonderful KSC foster mom although I admit I had some cattitude when I arrived.  Can you blame me? I had just lost my purrson, going from a loving cozy home to  cat carriers and cars and new locations is upsetting!

Yet as I watched the other cats here I learned that my foster home is a safe place and I can trust my foster mom. I am dreaming of a forever home with a gentle, understanding person like this who will allow me to adapt to my surroundings and then shower me with the attention and affection I love so much. In return, I will be your loyal and constant companion. I will greet you at the door when you come home warm you lap and warm your heart with my purrs of contentment!

I lie on my bed in the front window, enjoying the scenery and sunshine and watch for my foster mom to come home.  Then I run to the door to meet her and I lead her to the kitchen!  I swear she’d forget where it is without me!  Next I climb into the food cabinet and choose everyone’s dinner.  It’s not that difficult to do, but my foster mom was taking too long to make her decisions so I took it upon myself to manage this task!  I then make sure she follows me as I lead her to my bedroom and puts my food down exactly where I want it. 

In the evenings when my foster mom is on the couch watching TV, I’ll jump into her lap.  I love it when she pets me and scratches my chin and cheeks.  When I’m done soaking in all the attention I’ll settle down on her lap and fall asleep.  She loves watching my legs twitch and my nose wiggle as I dream in my sleep.  If she works from home then I’ll sit on her lap while she’s on the computer.  She tells me I’m a calming influence.  I just like to sleep on her lap, although I really love to sleep on her feet at night, or near her head.  It’s so very nice and comforting to have a purrson again.  I just wish I didn’t have to share her with the other foster cats!
