SOFT AND SILKY SWEETHEART IS A VOLUNTEER FAVORITE

Hello friends! My name is Thelma. King Street Cats brought me into its family when my original rescue group had to go out of business. My new friends here envision me becoming the best friend to a gentle purrson (or purrsons) who would treasure a best friend like me. 

I'm three years old as of this posting in January 2016. Three (3) years is a wonderful age at which to adopt a feline friend - I'm calmer than a kitten yet young in every way. My personality and disposition have settled into their permanent states and the news is excellent in both cases: I have a mellow, relaxed disposition and a very sweet personality.

I am known at KSC as a staff favorite - my volunteer friends love me! One friend recently referred to me as "...such a love!" and another reports that I am a "beautiful, gentle cat" who "loves that gorgeous coat to be brushed."

Here are some of things my volunteer friends have to say about me:

"She is totally adorable. Loves to play and snuggle. Her forever family will be very lucky."

"...she really likes to be brushed. As a long hair cat, that's important to do daily. So, it's good that she enjoys it."

"...she loves playing, and petting - what a lovely companion she will be to her new human(s)."

I'm surrounded by kitties here at King Street Cats but I generally ignore them - it's the human heart that I'm after. If you happen to have another low-key, mellow male kitty I could be OK with this, but what I dream of is to be your "one and only" girl. I will thrive in a quiet, peaceful home where you and I can bond to each other. 

My friends describe me as extremely pretty and say my pictures don't do me justice. I have a heart-shaped face in snowy white that's perfectly framed by jet black fur with a little black chin. I have a baby pink nose with which to smell the whole world and bright clear almond-shaped eyes in a spring green color. My fur is very soft and silky.
