Hello world! My name is Hail, and I’m looking to become your forever cat along with my best friend brother, Lightning. We are an inseparable bonded pair, so we must be adopted into the same home together. We promise to bring you an overload of happiness and love.

My siblings Stormy, Lightning and Thunder and I were six weeks old when  King Street Cats rescued us from a Maryland kill shelter. We were born in mid March, making us about four (4) months old as of this posting at the beginning of July 2015. A wonderful foster family with a lovable dog and a neighborhood full of children immediately took us in. 

We all blossomed, but I am the one who changed the most. At first I was afraid of everything! My favorite way to express my fear was to hiss and spit at my foster parents, earning myself the nickname “Hissy.” (I'm so embarrassed now when I think back...) Happily, the confidence of my siblings and the love from my foster family helped me to come out of my shell…  permanently!  Now I’m even more curious and outgoing than my sister Thunder, who was the born family cat. I’m even good friends with the family dog!

I’m not only great with dogs, I also know how to handle kids. My foster family had a 10- and a 12-year old. We got along really well with them! The three-year-old next door was totally fine too!

I’m a beautiful kitten with a soft gray tabby coat and little tufts on each ear that make me look like a miniature lynx. I have beautiful, clear green eyes and a cute little raspberry-colored nose.

The world is my playground. What? You disagree? Just spend a little time with me… you’ll see. I will run all over the place and play with  anything!  Your hair? My siblings? How about anything else, like a piece of paper or a store-bought kitty toy? I will be so absorbed!
