BELLA - HER NAME PERFECTLY DESCRIBES HER: BEAUTIFUL...INSIDE AND OUT

Hello friends! My name is Bella. Through no fault of my own I was given up by the only family I've ever known - but luck was with me and I joined the King Street Cats family. I've been living with a wonderful KSC foster mom who fell in love with me and I love her right back. We both know that my special brand of beauty will warm your heart and home.

My foster mom says that my name describes me perfectly. Bella means "beauty." My foster mom says this applies to my lovely looks and my endearing personality. She says about me: "...one of THE sweetest cats I've ever known!" and my foster mom has known a lot of cats! I'm a gorgeous silvery girl with long fur that I love to have brushed. You'll want to brush me very regularly not only to hear my satisfied purrs but to keep my soft fur from getting tangled. My coloring is what you might call very, very dilute tortoiseshell - from a distance I'm silvery but up close you'll notice swirls and patterns in a light honey and cream color too. I have lovely almond-shaped green eyes, a magnificent little lioness mane and a fluffy plume of a tail. 

I am 14 years old and I know it will take a special kind of purrson to look beyond my age - but please, keep reading. To me, age is just a number. We know that cats live many years past my current age and this is my intention. Keep reading about me!

I love to play! I chase my favorite red laser dot around like a kitten. Toys on strings - they stand no chance against me. I love attention from my humans - you can love on me to your heart's content and I'll purr and purr for you. I love to snuggle closely with my human. If I must get your attention, I will come to you and meow quietly while giving you the "gentle paw tap." Sometimes I'll just raise my paw and wave it around slightly in the air to signal that we need to love each other right then and there. 

I have never lived with another cat - and to tell you the truth, I do not want to start now. I want to be your "one and only" so that we can focus our attention on each other. I'll greet you happily after you've been away for a while and I'll look forward to spending time with you. I'll make you laugh when we play together and I'll make you smile when we snuggle.

I arrived at KSC having already been front declawed. This means that I cannot protect myself against danger so I will rely on you 100% to always keep me safe and not expose me to situations where my natural instinct would be to defend myself because I'm not able to do that.
