Hello friends! My name is Rocket, and I am ready to love you. King Street Cats welcomed me into their family when my person inexplicably surrendered me because they knew how easy it would be for me to find my forever home. The surrender was no fault of mine - I have everything it takes to be a best friend and I'm ready to meet you!

If it appears as though I may be smiling in my photo, that just may be the case! I'm very happy to be here at KSC where I am surrounded by nice volunteers and lots of kitties to play with. I love both humans and my feline friends. I have a very sweet and loving personality. I like to greet my people by rubbing on their legs and giving them affectionate head bops. In cat-speak we call the act of bopping our human friends with our heads "bunting," and it means that we approve of you and claim you for our own.

I enjoy head rubs, chin scratches and getting lots of compliments while you pet me. I get lots of compliments from my volunteer friends because… well, it sounds silly if I say it myself… but – they all say that I am extremely handsome! I hear them whisper about my plush, silvery coat that gives me an exotic look, and my big round bright green eyes that shine at everyone.

I would be very happy to go home to another friendly kitty if he or she was agreeable to my presence in the household. If you don't have another kitty, would you consider adopting me with a friend from King Street Cats? It's beneficial for a young cat to have a same-species companion. Two cats can keep each other entertained, exercised, groomed, engaged and calm when you are not able to be with us. Just something to consider.
