Hello friends! My name is Jack. I've been a family boy all of my life, but my family wasn't able to keep me. Luckily I'm now a member of the King Street Cats family where my new volunteer friends are getting to know and love me. They can assure you that my change in circumstances had nothing whatsoever to do with me. I'm a wonderful boy with a lot of love that I'm just waiting to share. I'm dreaming of sharing it with just you - no other kitties, please. 

I might be a tiny bit shy at first, but that's only because my world has changed very quickly. This will fade quickly as soon as I realize that you're a new friend who can be trusted. It's also the only tiny thing about me - I am a big, handsome, affectionate buy who looooves coming to visit you to get my chin scratched and my head petted. You'll know how happy you're making me because I'll do little jumps to push my head up into your hand for more loving and I'll purrrr happily for you.

Handsome is an overused word, but it applies to me! Ask any of my new friends. I'm a jet black and snowy white boy with a white tuxedo and bright, curious golden eyes. I've got short fur that's plush and soft. I've got a little button nose in black to match my dominant color. My chin is snowy white and highlights the little sprinkling of white "snowflakes" on my forehead. You can't go wrong with classic looks like mine!

I was born in 2010. That is nothing in the cat world, so do not even think to yourself "Oh, I wanted a young cat." I AM a young cat! I love life and I love people, and there is no need for you to think about my age because I never do. If nothing else, it's a big plus in the behavior and disposition department. I'm a mellow boy who won't be climbing the drapery.  I understand how nice it is to just spend quiet, relaxing time with you. We can play, we can get excited - and then we can calm down and just enjoy each other's faithful companionship. 

I love my new friends here and they love getting to know me and my charms, but what I really want is to go home again - to my forever home. Are you looking for a best friend to keep you warm through the winter and give you reasons to smile each time you turn the key in the lock and open your door? I'll be inside waiting to greet you with purrs.
