SWEETHEART CHILD FRIENDLY CAT READY RESCUED FROM HURRICANE RUBBLE READY TO FIND HIS FOREVER FAMILY Harvey is one of our sweet kitties rescued from FL after the 2017 Hurricanes. He was living in an outdoor animal shelter and that was destroyed by Hurricane Irma and was rescued by an amazing organization that brought him and many others by "plane, train and automobile" up the East Coast. His foster says that Harvey is a gentle, companion able cat looking for someone to scratch his chin and ears, and maybe give the occasional belly rub. Walk in the door, and Harvey will be your friend. Scratch his chin, and he'll be your best friend forever. Harvey is an easy-going, companionable cat. He's very happy to curl up next to (or on) people. He gets along with everyone, even young children. His favorite member of his foster family is the toddler- he loves when the toddler pets him and plays with him. Whenever Harvey sees the toddler, he will rub against the toddler's hand to help the toddler pet him.
Harvey 's favorite toy is string and catnip mice. Catnip makes him pouncy! He especially loves when the string is tied to the tail of the catnip mice. He loves to pounce the string and will sometimes try to hide it.
Harvey is dreaming of a forever home where he can snuggle, be pet and spend lots of time with his new family!
