Domestic Short Hair (short coat) : : Male : : Young
Felix was rescued from Florida after the 2017 Hurricanes. He was living in an outdoor animal shelter that was destroyed by Hurricane Irma. An amazing rescue angel had been transporting cats by "plane, train and automobile" up the East Coast. They arrived by van having driven through the night to get Felix and 4 other kitties to us.
Felix has spent a few weeks in a wonderful foster home to recover from his ordeal. His foster mom says “ Felix didn’ t get the memo that cats are supposed to be solitary, standoffish creatures. He wants snuggles and scratches and head butts – lots of head butts. While still a young and active cat, he likes to get his lap cat groove on. If you let him, he’ll show you what a good cat scarf he makes too! He’s OK sharing space and people with a dog and would likely be accepting of another cat too. Favorite toy: catnip mouse. Favorite spot: a comfy pillow. Pet Peeves: loud truck noises through an open window. Favorite Person: you!”
If you would like to meet Felix he is now at King Street Cats so stop in during open adoption hours on Saturdays and Sundays from 1:30 to 4:30.
