Complete An Adoption Application

Elwood and Jaka (bonded sister and brother) arrived at King Street Cats as a pair of sad, bedraggled babies rescued from a shelter.   After getting a little stronger at KSC they went to a KSC foster home where they learned to be friendly, loving babies.   Elwood is an orange tabby and Jaka is black.  Jaka was originally named Jake (from the Blues Brothers Jake and Elwood) until she turned out to be a girl. :)  They were born in July, fully vetted, and are ready to become your special kittens.

One of Elwood’s eyes had to be removed due to lingering problems from his early days.  His other eye also has somewhat restricted vision but you could never tell from the way he runs around his foster home!  He is truly a happy-go-lucky guy without a care in the world.  He is super friendly and everyone who meets him falls in love with him.

Jaka is more reserved than her brother but she always looks out for him and was there to snuggle with him and comfort him after his eye surgery.  She likes to run around the house with Elwood and chase anything she can find.

Both kittens will let you hold them like babies and like to sleep at the foot of the bed at night.

Elwood and Jaka are good travelers.  They have traveled to their foster parents Wintergreen condo for the weekend and also spent a weekend traveling in an RV with their foster parents.

Elwood and Jaka have spent time with other kittens at their foster home and are good with other cats.  They have also been around their foster mom’s grand dog and are good with friendly dogs.  If you are interested in learning more about Elwood or Jaka, please reach to contact@kingstreetcats.org.
