Hello friends! My name is Herman. I was wandering around a trailer park by myself when I had the luck to cross paths with a kind samaritan who took note of my fantastic disposition and asked me if I'd like to meet some nice people at King Street Cats. 

"Sure," I said. "I love to make new friends. Two legs, four legs. I like them all." Now I'll be honest: I didn't really say that out loud, but that's what I was thinking! Best decision I ever made. I'm enjoying humans and felines and charming them all here at KSC. My new goal is to charm the special purrson who walks through the door with the intent to find a new best friend and convince them to take me home. 

I'm a young boy of one (1) year old, which is a nice adoption age. I'm more mature than a kitten but I'm already ready for fun and games. You may have heard that orange boy cats make some of the most mellow and agreeable companions for their families and this is true of me. I am described by my volunteer friends as "a total love." 

I'm also a totally handsome boy with honey-colored fur and a perfect tabby "M" mark on my forehead. I have tabby stripes and swirls blazing through my short silky coat, a pink little nose to nudge you with when I need some loving, and bright eyes that change from green to gold depending on the lighting conditions. 

If you have a feline friend at home who won't be threatened by my arrival, I would enjoy a playmate. If you don't, please give serious consideration to adopting me together with one of my deserving friends here at KSC. Young, playful and social cats like me derive many benefits from same-species companionship. My volunteer friends can tell you more about this and introduce you to several friends who would pair nicely with me. 

Feline friends or not, please expect to enjoy a lot of good times with me. I love people and I'll want to be around you, see what you're doing, possibly help you out, and make sure you don't get lonely. I purr happily when my friends rub my head, scratch my chin and tell me what a handsome little guy I am. I purr even more happily when they stop and spend more time with me. I just like people!
