HONEY-COLORED HANDSOMENESS AND THE HEART OF A LOVEBUG

Hello friends! My name is Texas. I was welcomed into the King Street Cats family from a public shelter because it was so obvious to the humans who've met me that I have the kind of disposition and personality that will bring happiness to the lucky purrson or family who takes me home.

I am as sweet as honey. I have a laid back, mellow and easy going disposition and an affectionate personality. I adore attention from my human friends and purr happily when I receive it. I like to lean into a nice head rub or chin scratch, and I have one of the softest, warmest snowy white silky tummies you'll find. If I roll over happily, you can rub it and hear even more happy purring, You may have heard that orange (my coloring) male cats make some of the most agreeable feline companions and adjust easily to the lives and schedules of our humans. This is true for me.

I like to be near my people. I like to watch and sniff what they're up to. I like to nuzzle them and listen to them tell me how wonderful I am. One volunteer friend here describes me as "a complete love" and when I overhear her say that I couldn't be happier.

I'd get along with another nice, mellow cat who wouldn't feel threatened by my presence.

Speaking of honey, I am one amazingly handsome boy! My honey colored fur is short, silky and plush and full of wonderful tabby stripes and swirls. I've got a snowy white tuxedo on because I'm a stylish guy! I have a fine dusting of snowy white running down my nose, which ends in pastel pink. I have big bright round golden eyes to match my overall coloring and they'll melt your heart.
