Tuchie is a petite and pretty bundle of energy! She came to us from a city shelter where she had been surrendered with her kittens by her family. She was seriously underweight for a 2-year-old cat at only 4 pounds and was struggling to eat and swallow. She was diagnosed with a serious cleft palate that would require surgical intervention. While her kittens were quickly adopted, there was no hope for her at the city shelter.

At KSC, Tuchie was able to get her surgery with a specialist. While there was some concern that the surgery might fail due to the severity of her condition, we are thrilled to report she is completely healed, gaining weight and ready for the perfect forever home. 

Tuchie’s foster mom reports that Tuchie is a real sweetheart who loves to eat and play with the other cats in the home. While Tuchie is a young adult, she looks and acts like a kitten. We think she’s just making up for lost time!
