CURRENTLY IN FOSTER

Hi my name is Raye. My sister Della and I were living in a yard with other cats when the person that lived in the house noticed we were both very pregnant. Lucky for us King Street Cats came to our rescue. We went to a fabulous foster home together to await the arrival of our babies. One week after arriving in our foster home I had 5 beautiful baby girls! One week after I had my babies, Della had 4 gorgeous boys and 1 beautiful girl. 10 babies all together! I immediately moved my babies to the spot where Della had her babies. We raised our combined litters together. Our awesome foster family took such great care of us and all of the kittens. Della and I stayed with our kittens until they were about 3 months old. We were then brought to another wonderful foster home where we could rest so we would be ready for spay surgery and have a quiet place to recover. We are now more than ready to find our furrever family, hopefully together.

We have realized that being inside where it is warm, dry and cozy is not such a bad thing. We get fed on a regular basis and have toys to play with. We are even learning that we can trust people. We think we would do best in a quiet home with patient people who will give us, mostly Della, time to continue to come out of our shell.

I may seem to be shy at first but I’m really not. Once I get to know you, be prepared for me to follow you around and solicit pets. I will purr like crazy too! My foster mom says I am a purr monster, whatever that means. I haven’t become a lap cat yet but have been known to lay my head in my foster mom’s lap while she is petting me. I will also lay next to you and may even roll over for a belly rub or two. I like to play, especially with the plastic spring toys. Toy mice are fun too! I absolutely love Temptations treats!
