Complete An Adoption Application

CURRENTLY IN FOSTER

Hi my name is Della.   My sister Raye and I were living in a yard with other cats when the person that lived in the house noticed we were both very pregnant. Lucky for us King Street Cats came to our rescue. We went to a fabulous foster home together to await the arrival of our babies. One week after arriving in our foster home Raye had 5 beautiful baby girls!  One week after Raye had her babies, I had 4 gorgeous boys and 1 beautiful girl. 10 babies all together! Raye immediately moved her babies to the spot where I had her babies. We raised our combined litters together. Our awesome foster family took such great care of us and all of the kittens. Raye and I stayed with our kittens until they were about 3 months old. We were then brought to another wonderful foster home where we could rest so we would be ready for spay surgery and have a quiet place to recover.  We are now more than ready to find our furrever family, hopefully together. 

We have realized that being inside where it is warm, dry and cozy is not such a bad thing. We get fed on a regular basis and have toys to play with. We are even learning that we can trust people. We think we would do best in a quiet home with patient people who will give us, well mostly me, time to continue to come out of our shell. 

My sister Raye is definitely the more outgoing of the two of us. I am still very shy around people. I will sniff your hand, maybe rub my head on it and sometimes will sit within a few feet of my foster mom. I do let my foster mom pet me while I am eating and I might be starting to like it but don’t want her to know that yet! I like to play, especially with the plastic spring toys.  Toy mice are fun too! I absolutely love Temptations treats! 

Raye and I have been together our entire lives and would love to find a furever home together. I think if someone with a lot of patience could adopt us together I could become more outgoing like my sister.
