AFFECTIONATE "TEENAGER" WILL SOAK UP YOUR LOVE AND ATTENTION

Hello friends! My name is Handsome Speedy. I'm a "teenager," or rather, I was born in Fall 2018 so I am still a kitten as of Spring 2019. I'm looking for a home with space to run and play. I think I want to be your "one and only" boy so that I can soak up as much love and affection as you can give me! I'm a purr machine and I'll prove it to you!

I found myself at a shelter in Maryland where at first I wasn't very happy. A devoted staff member spent a lot of time getting to know me and we discovered the source of my displeasure - I had an immense dislike of being confined in a cage. Perhaps I was confined early in my life and formed a bad memory? 

She spent a lot of time with me. We got to know each other and I quickly made it known that I am a love sponge. I love to be held, petted and rubbed. My purr engine goes into overdrive. I've included a video link below where you can see me loving my shelter friend. She worked very hard to get to me a rescue group where I'm certain to find my forever home, and King Street Cats is that place!

I'm searching for someone who's young at heart like me and will play with me. I love to chase toys and things on the ends of wands and strings. If I become a little bit overexcited (in the way that kittens do) you can redirect me with another toy or treat. As I've said, I love affection. I hope you'll let me snuggle up to you wherever you are. 

I'm an adorable orange boy, and you may have heard that orange male cats (most orange cats are male, by the way) make some of the best companions. I have honey-colored fur with tabby stripes and swirls and bright green eyes. You'll find me pretty darn cute!
