CURRENTLY IN FOSTER

Hello out there, my name is Bamboo!  I’m a beautiful blue-gray short haired boy with a funny chubby tummy, big gold eyes and a super loveable purrsonality.  I was born at a county shelter with my brother Coconut.  Lucky for us King Street Cats decided to rescue the three is us. Coconut and I spent the first few months in foster care with our birth-mama.  Once we were big enough, Coconut and I joined a group of same age kittens at my foster mom’s house and the rest is happy history!  For the past few months I’ve been growing up big and strong, getting all the care I need to prepare me for my furrever life with the purrfect family.  I don’t have a pedigree, but I look just like a Russian blue, ever heard of those?  I have high cheek bones and beautiful ghost stripes in my gray fur that you can see in just the right light.  I don’t need much grooming because, so far, I don’t seem to shed a lot and I’m super neat and tidy with my hygiene and appearance.  I’m very goofy and playful: I love to play catch, chase my siblings, wrestle with toys and attack wands and laser dots.  I’m a snuggler too!  If you sit down anywhere near me, I’ll probably be in your lap within 30 seconds.  Sometimes I feel a little shy in new places, but I warm up fast and love to explore.  I have the prettiest little meow that I use to let my foster mom know when I’m hungry or happy to see her.  I get along great with my foster-siblings, and especially with my little brother, Coconut.  We’ve been together since we were tiny babies and I can’t imagine life without him.  Even though we aren’t babies anymore, we still like to sleep and snuggle together, and help each other groom those hard to reach places.
