Do you want a new friend who'll gaze at you with the MOST AMAZING GREEN EYES EVER? Well then hello! I am Jade - nice to meet you! I was found wandering the streets of Washington, D.C. last spring with my young kittens.  A kind stranger brought us to King Street Cats where we could be safe and cared for.  My kittens have all found new homes.  Now it's my turn. I am currently in FOSTER care.

I was born in the Spring of 2011.  I've got a quiet meow and I'm generally a low key lady but I do like to play a bit! I'm house trained and get along well with adults.  I'm cautious and shy with new people though, so I appreciate that extra bit of patience as you meet me. Once I know and love you, I'll trust you to introduce me slowly to more humans. I have never been exposed to kids or dogs that I know of.  I might have passed them while I was homeless on the street but everything looked a little but scary then because I was busy protecting my kittens! Check out the photo of me in the "cat condo" with another feline friend at King Street Cats. I was having fun in there! I get along with other cats.

I am a classic Tabby beauty with almond-shaped jade green eyes. The first thing you'll notice is my eyes - there is no other green like this. Each time a new friend comes into King Street Cats, I hear, "Oh my goodness - those are THE most amazing eyes I have ever seen!"  Jade, just like my name. Check out the pretty beige "eyeliner" that highlights them! I've got a perfect little Tabby "M" mark on my head. Tabbies tend to have markings shaped like the letter M on their heads, have you noticed? The rest of my soft, short fur is a lovely mix of beige, sable (dark brown) and ash. I've even got some lighter cream colored fur on my belly.
