Hello friends, my name is Flea! I didn't have a very lucky start, but I am ready to make up for that now. Would you believe that I was left behind when a roommate moved out? I had never even been taken to a veterinarian. Who would do that to me? Lucky for me, King Street Cats saved me and I am showing them my love and gratitude. That's just what I plan to do when I find my forever home - fill it with love and gratitude!

Here is what one of my new friends said about me when I was featured on the King Street Cats Facebook page on June 11, 2014: "HE IS SUCH A LOVE-BUG AND WILL BE AN ABSOLUTE JOB FOR WHOEVER IS LUCKY ENOUGH TO TAKE THIS HANDSOME GUY HOME!" How is that for an endorsement? That makes my heart purrrr.

When I got a visit from the King Street Cat friend who helped me write this, I did not waste a second - I immediately presented myself for all the loving I could get! I got so happy that I couldn't help flopping over and rolling around to show off my silky silver belly! And then when the grooming brush came out - oh boy, I was in heaven!! I rolled all around to make sure that she could give me that spa treatment from every angle. I can't help myself - I am a completely loving boy!!

I am an exceptionally handsome little boy born in May 2013 (so I am just now one year old as of this post in June 2014) with silky solid silver fur and bright green eyes. I made it very clear to my new friends here at King Street Cats that I looove to snuggle and I looove to be held by loving humans. My friends tell me that I will have a forever home where my own special human(s) will snuggle with me and hold me all the time. This is my dream!

When King Street Cats took me to the vet we learned that I am FIV+. This means that I must go home to be an only cat, to live with a cat who is also FIV+, or to live with nice dogs. Dogs do NOT catch FIV. Humans do NOT catch FIV. I will need a special human who observes my health carefully, feeds me the most nutritious food, establishes a trusting relationship with a vet who is knowledgeable about FIV, and who keeps me indoors so that I do not come into contact with other cats. There is no reason why I cannot live a normal life span.
