Hello friends! My name is Eclipse. Before I tell you my story, I want to tell you about myself. My foster mom is my greatest fan. She says I have more love to give than you can imagine! It just so happens that I absolutely love humans. There's something so inherently sweet and loving in my nature that not even my past could dim the sunshine I'm going to bring you.

I was shut in a house alone and then tossed outside on my own when the new renters moved in. When a kind soul found me, I weighed just five (5!) pounds. I am a survivor, though - and it's not in my nature to fight or behave aggressively. I got by on my charm, good looks and feline ingenuity. Here's an example of how I put all three excellent qualities to good use: I met a nice stranger and decided that I would just sit on his boot and not move until a nice can of tuna came my way. And it did!

I want to offer you loyalty and companionship like you have never known before. I love to talk, so you can tell me all about your day and I'll tell you about mine. If you need a pick-me-up smile, just let me know and I will give you one of my head bonks. Bonk! See, you smiled! 

If you need a laugh, come and listen to the funny, happy noises I make when I eat! When you need a little wake-me-up or a good stretch, I am ready to play - and I play like a kitten!

I've been to the vet and I am up to date on everything healthwise. The vet thinks that I'm about nine (9) years old, but I am so full of energy and love that I have nooooo plans to slow down anytime soon - unless you need to relax, in which case we can just enjoy each others' quiet company. 

I'm alright with the one (1) other fury friend in my foster home, but I become nervous when I'm around more than one other cat. If you have one nice cat who won't intimidate me and might like to play, that would be nice. I could also be your one and only since I like my human very much and will want to spend a lot of time with you.
