Hello friends! My name is Keira, and I am so happy to be here at King Street Cats after finding myself pregnant in a hoarding situation. I had five babies, four of whom survived and are known as the "Lighthouse Kittens:" Hatteras, Sanibel, Loma and Tybee. We've been in wonderful King Street Cats foster homes and I am now ready to find my forever home - maybe for the holidays? Keep reading and you will see that I have some unique "wintery" features!

I bet you can't wait to find out what those are, right? OK, let me start there. Somewhere in the distant past I must have had a Norwegian Forest cousin, because while I may look like the prettiest fawn (very light brown) tabby you've ever seen, I just so happen to have a fluffy plume of a tail, a belly of deep, silky fur and fur between my toes! All of this makes me the perfect girl to keep you company by the fireplace, don't you think? I have very beautiful green eyes too. I will use them to gaze at you lovingly.

I'm just one (1) year old. When I was first rescued from the hoarding situation, I was very scared. Yet it was obvious that I craved human attention and affection. I am a little bit shy at first, so I would like to go home with a human who can be quiet and gentle to make me feel safe. Once I know that I can trust you, the real Keira will blossom - I simply love to be brushed and I never, ever get tired of being petted and rubbed gently. I want us to enjoy each others' company. As my foster mom and other KSC friends can attest, I have a very sweet personality.

I also love to play! I enjoy other (nice) kitty friends and would enjoy going home to (or with) feline playmates. My favorite toys right now are ping pong balls - those silly little circles, rolling around and trying to get away from me! I chase them all down and capture them no matter how sneaky they may be.

Please, please consider this gorgeous medium-haired fawn tabby girl with the creamy silk belly, plush fluffy tail, furry little toes and bright green eyes. I can't wait to go home with my new person(s).
