EXTRAORDINARY PAIR OF YOUNG BEAUTIES ARE SEEKING AN EXCEPTIONALLY LOVING HOME Hello friends! My name is Marshmallow, and I am a stunning, very petite girl kitten with exotic makings that will remind you of a Siamese or a Tonkinese or a Snowshow cat. I found myself being both extremely tiny and all along in the world until I came to King Street Cats and met Sofie, a glistening black girl kitty who’d arrived a few weeks earlier and adopted me as her own kitten. She became my momma kitty, or my kitty momma – looking out for me, comforting me, snuggling me, cleaning me with her kisses, and helping me understand the world. We are inseparable so we must be adopted together into the same home. I was born in late August 2014 so I am truly just a little kitten. Check out the photos of me with my adopted kitty mom Sofie for a size comparison – don’t I look tiny compared to her? Everyone I’ve met says that I am exquisitely beautiful. I’m a creamy white with color “points” of soft brown in all the right places. I’ve got huge blue eyes, a bright pink nose, a perfect little mocha mask on my face and a very cute chin! Being as small as I am, I arrived at King Street Cats full of fear. Sofie makes me feel safe and is showing me that there are nice people who move slowly, speak softly, interact gently, and can be trusted. I love what I see and I am leaning every day, but I’m still shy. I’ll need you to have a lot of love and patience and understanding for the safety I feel when I’m with Sofie. I’m not ready for a loud, busy environment. I’m not ready for noisy children or aggressive animals. I’d like to find a quiet home where Sofie and I can explore our boundaries, develop our sense of safety, and continue to interact with a kind human (or humans) in exchange for our gratefulness and companionship. When people hear the story of how scared I was, how small I was, how Sofie herself was scared and a bit shy but adopted me nonetheless, picking up where my biological kitty mom left off, they are touched. Sofie and I know this story has a happy ending where we go home to be loved and treasured and do all the fun things two young cats should do. If you are the person to help us write that happy ending, please come to meet us. Send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask about Marshmallow and her adoptive kitty mom Sofie. We will be so happy and grateful to go to our very own quiet, loving home where we will continue to grow and blossom. Thank you in advance! Please enjoy our photos and don’t forget that Sofie has her own page as well.
