Hello friends! My name is Bluebell, and King Street Cats rescued me in May 2014 when I was about a year old and very pregnant. How lucky was I? My kittens have been adopted into their forever homes, and now it's my turn!

I am a one-year-old little lady with an amazingly plush, silky jet black short coat of fur and almond-shaped eyes in a deep shade of gold. Don't let ANYONE put foolish ideas about black kitties in your head! I love humans despite my rough and scary start in life - it's just in my nature to trust you after a teeny little bit of initial shyness. I love my feline friends here at King Street Cats - if you have a nice kitty at home who would welcome me, that would be nice. If not, perhaps you would let me introduce you to one of my many wonderful friends here, so many of whom have been socialized and loved on in the homes of dedicated King Street Cats foster parents. Two kitties can entertain each other, burn off each others' energy - and give you twice the love and companionship.

But back to me! When I'm not demonstrating my affection for the human species, I like to relax on shelves, in boxes, and in other sunny places with a view of what's going on. I'll purr when you pet me, and I'd be very happy if you let me follow you around so I can keep an eye on your and assure myself that everything is OK with you!
