Hello friends! My name is John. I am the kind of guy whose heart sings (and purrs) at the prospect of devoting myself entirely to a special purrson or purrsons who will devote themselves entirely to me. I'm here at King Street Cats listening in disbelief as my new friends tell me how happy I'll be when I go to my forever home as the "one and only" lion, the king of my domain! 

I had been living in a home with other cats and that wasn't making anyone happy. Understand that this has nothing to do with my being a naughty boy - I'm just not a cat's cat. I'm a purrson's cat. When I am one-on-one with my purrson(s) I am a real love. My new friends at King Street Cats are sure of it because they've experienced it for themselves. In fact, if you become my special human, I may wait until you are sitting comfortably and then climb gently up drape myself around your shoulders. This kind of closeness makes me purrrrr.

My King Street Cats veterinarian thinks I am roughly three years old as of this posting in July 2015. I belong to that special society of orange cats, the majority of whom are boys, and so many of whom have given our orange/honey coloring the reputation for being mellow, steadfast companions. I've got tabby markings in my honey-colored fur and a snowy white tuxedo too. Big green eyes complete my fashionable attire. 

Are you - or is someone wonderful known to you - looking for a "one and only" single kitty to provide loyal companionship in exchange for love and affection? I'm at a nice age - past the kitten chaos and yet quite young. I would love to go to a home where I don't have to compete with other animals for your attention. That's where I am going to shine!
