Hello friends, my name is Mithril. What, you say? Mithril comes from the Lord of the Rings where it's a very rare element that looks like silver, is stronger than steel and lighter than both. In other words, it's very special. Special and rare - that's me!

I am a classically beautiful tortoiseshell girl with a dark chocolately coat infused with caramel blazes. I have a lovely burst of color above my right eye. These eyes change from green to gold depending on the lighting conditions. 

I have been a family girl since I was a baby but recently someone developed allergies so I came to King Street Cats to start anew. I was born at Christmastime in 2008, which means that I am just a little bit over six (6) years old as of this posting in March 2015. This is a wonderful age because I know how to behave and I've had a long time to manifest the traits that we torties are so well known for: extreme loyalty to our purrson(s), intelligence and that famous "tortitude," which simply means that we have our own take on the world but will be more than happy to tell you all about it with our "tortie talk." 

My new friends here at King Street Cats describe my purrsonality as "sweet and mellow" and say that I will make an outstanding companion for my new purrson(s).
