THIS GENTLE BEAUTY OFFERS YOU CALMING COMPANIONSHIP, LOYALTY AND LOVE

Hello friends. My name is Newt, and I am seeking a new home where I can share my affection and gentle approach to life with my special human(s) - and hopefully another gentle, mellow kitty. You see, I'm missing the company of my beloved sister who passed away very recently.

She and I had been together since we were born 10 years ago in July 2005. A new family member with allergies prompted our arrival a few months ago at King Street Cats. A wonderful KSC foster family took us in and quickly realized what loyal friends we were going to make for the special humans who came to bring us to our new forever home. Sadly, we learned that my sister was sick and wasn't going to get better.

I miss her - we were always together. This is why I'd be happy to go to a quiet home with a gentle cat who would enjoy spending time with me while you are busy doing the things that humans do. Right now I want be with my foster mom all the time - I want to see where she is, and when she goes away, I sit and wait for her. I'll need a very special, understanding kind of cat-loving human to help me while I feel sad about losing my sister.

I have what you would call a beautiful "dilute" tortoiseshell coat with silver and warm honey tones. I have almond-shaped green eyes and a curious little salmon-pink nose. I loved snugging with my sister, but I  also love attention and affection from my purrson(s). I love to be petted and have my ears scratched. I'll purr and purr to let you know how much I appreciate your gentle touch.  My King Street Cats volunteer friends are impressed with my gentle disposition  and know what a wonderful family member  I will make.

I'm described by our new friends as a "lovely young lady who is so sweet." Young? At 10 years old? YES! You know that cats' lives extend well beyond this age and so do I. I am looking forward to years of shared affection and contended companionship with my future family.  I stand ready to offer you everything I have in my heart !

I know that I will shine in my own home with my own gentle, patient purrson(s). I will show you why torties are very special cats, prompting some to seek us out. I'm living with my foster mom right now, but you can easily arrange for her to bring me to  King Street Cats where we can meet each other. Please send an email to contact@kingstreetcats.org and ask for me, Newt.

You'll feel better at the end of each day knowing that you have a devoted, gentle friend waiting to welcome you home. See you soon? I hope so!

Loyally yours,
Newt
