SHY, FLUFFY BOY KITTEN IS LOOKING FOR LOTS OF QUIET LOVE

Hi, I’m Blaze, the softest, sweetest kitten around. It’s nice to meet you. I was a feral kitten who came to KSC frightened and alone. With the help of the nice cats at King Street and my friendly foster siblings, I’ve learned that I actually love humans. I want to purr and be petted forever.

I’m not one of those crazy kittens (unlike my three-month-old foster siblings…), so when you take me home you don’t need to worry about me tearing up your furniture. I’m very shy, so although I love to be petted, I can be scared to come up and ask for it. Just be patient and gentle, and eventually I’ll be rubbing myself against your hands and purring like your own personal thunderstorm.

What would my ideal forever home be? Hmm… I think it would have one or two nice, patient adult humans, maybe a couple other low-key cats (exuberant cats tend to crowd me out for attention and at mealtimes)… and a cat tree in a sunny spot to sleep on. That’s all I ask.

I’m a striking kitten: my beautiful orange tabby coat and orange-and-cream striped tail are a perfect match for my butterscotch-colored eyes. I’m sure you’ve heard the legend that orange cats are especially loving and loyal: It’s true. But all those other orange kitties didn’t have to spend the first months of their life alone on the streets, did they? And I will love you more than you could ever imagine. In return, I need lots of special attention to prove to me that humans are always friendly and considerate, and never mean or scary.

You may have noticed that I have been ear-tipped: that’s because the vets found me as a feral kitten. However, I wasn’t released back onto the streets, but given to a shelter because they saw my potential to make a wonderful companion. Then ANOTHER SHELTER BROUGHT ME TO King Street Cats, and they knew that I would make a great pet for a gentle, patient human like you.

It would be nice for me to be adopted with another kitty from KSC, but it isn’t absolutely necessary. I’ve been hanging out in foster with four sisters (I think I might need some “guy time.”), and I get along very well with them but handle myself properly on my own as well. I became especially good friends with my foster sister Cola. She’s that jet-black kitty in my photos. Cute, huh?

And Cola is coming to the KSC with me. She is also bringing her adorable sister Clipper. They are a bonded pair who are looking to get adopted together. Promise me that you’ll visit their pages next. Okay?
