At King Street Cats we have no paid staff so every dollar you donate goes to the veterinary care, feeding, and sheltering of our cats. We remain all-volunteer run and rely solely on private donations to help rescue and care for over 350 cats and kittens each year.
Ever wonder where your donations are really going? You can come and see for yourself at KSC. Drop by any Saturday or Sunday between 1:30pm-4:30pm and meet with our free-roaming feline residents and talk with our volunteers about King Street Cats. Nori's Fund
KSC sadly lost one of our most beloved cats in May: Nori. A former stray who lived the remainder of his life with us at KSC, we thought a wonderful way to honor his memory would be to set up a fund that will support KSC's efforts to help "community cats." The funds raised will help us support TNR efforts, provide veterinary care for injured strays, take in adoptable cats, and provide food and supplies for some of our community cat caregivers.

The Little Angel Fund
Thanks to a very generous donation by KSC volunteer Lisa V., in 2010 we established the “Little Angel Fund” in memory of a special kitten named “Angel Hair” (pictured below). Lisa and her husband fostered Angel Hair in 2010. Despite their valiant efforts to help her thrive, Angel Hair sadly passed over the Rainbow Bridge.
The “Little Angel Fund” is used exclusively to pay for emergency veterinary care for KSC kittens like Bacon, who was brought to us suffering from severe burns and who spent a month at our vet before making a full recovery. And, the "Chocolate Kittens" Dove and Hershey who were able to receive sight-saving eye surgery at Vet Vision.

- Adult canned food (Friskies non-fish preferred, and Fancy Feast any flavor)
- Adult dry food (any)
- Kitten food (KMR canned/powdered, Fancy Feast or Wellness kitten food, Gerber chicken-flavored baby food)
- Fresh Step Clay Litter and Feline Pine Litter only, please
- Paper Towels
- Large black and white trash bag
- Washcloths
- Washable cat toys
- We do not currently need used cat furniture, scratchers, or litter boxes
Shop for A Good Cause
You can actually donate money to King Street Cats while doing your shopping. Many of your favorite merchants will donate a percentage of your purchase to KSC at no cost to you.
