Hello friends! We are Jess and Eli, a female and male bonded pair of friends who met after King Street Cats saved us from a shelter in Maryland that was closing down. We're not certain about much in our pasts, but we know that we've become best friends and will make wonderful companions for our lucky forever family. We're just two (2) years old (Eli) and three (3) years old (Jess) which means that we're very young with our whole lives to share with you - and yet we've matured into our personalities so you'll know what you'll get when you meet us and fall in love!

We are both extremely sweet and gentle - and a bit shy. We take a lot of comfort in each other's company although we're curious about what's going on here in the busy cat room at King Street Cats. We love to get attention from our soft-spoken volunteer friends. We purrrr when we get our heads rubbed and chins scratched. Our friends are completely confident that once we're in our own quiet, calm forever home we will quickly relax and become the kind of faithful, trusting companions that you'll be happy and eager to come home to.

I (Jess) am a lovely honey-colored tabby girl. This is relatively rare color in a female kitty. "Orange" cats are considered by many to make the most accommodating and easy-going companions. I have lovely tabby stripes and bright green eyes. Mu best friend Eli is a stunning "mackerel" tabby with the deep chocolate stripes and swirls in his fur that make mackerels so distinct.

We are so lucky that KSC found us and saved us from the defunct rescue group in Maryland. They did so because they saw in us the qualities that make KSC cats special and knew we'd find a forever home - and we would be so pleased if this might be with you. Let's find out!
