OUR SHY LITTLE PIRATE BECOMES BRAVER WITH EACH PASSING DAY

Hello mates! My name is Marcel. I'm the sweetest little one-eyed purring pirate to pass though these parts lately. I am warm, safe and loved thanks to King Street Cats. They tell me these conditions will be in effect for the rest of my life - I've never heard anything nicer. 

I came from a hoarding situation; things were tough. My eye become infected and I didn't feel like my best little self. When I was brought to KSC, I instinctively knew to set my shyness aside so that I could be helped. My eye was safely removed because it couldn't be saved, and now my little pirate looks endears me that much more to my new volunteer friends here at KSC.

I'm a shy boy. I didn't have much social interaction in my previous situation. But I have that special instinct that tells me what wonderful creatures humans are. My friends here prove it to me constantly. Each day I get braver and less shy. I'm dreaming of a forever home where an understanding, undemanding purrson will whisper encouragement to me while gently petting my velvety fur.

I'd like time to acclimate and get to know you in a quiet part of your home. I'll slowly explore the realms of my new kingdom - the bathroom realm, the kitchen realm, etc. It would be an adventure if you could explore them with me! I'll rely on you to show me what's safe and enjoyable. 

I'd like to be able to spend quiet time at your side when you're resting. I have a gentle disposition and I'll keep you in good company. You don't have to face the stress of the day alone when you have your own little personal pirate to come home to. 

I'm an adorable little guy of two (2) years old with short, plush and velvety jet black fur. You'll love petting me because I am soft and warm!
